Kudos Cafe Bar

What used to be one of my favorite places to go, has completely changed thanks to completely new and rude staff.

The service was bad to start with. Not only did the barman serve completely the worng drink, but tried to say he'd served what we had asked for. How can an order for a G&T and a vodka and lemonade sound like 2 G&T's? He even tried both drinks and said they tasted the same!!

To make matters worse, the next time I tried to get served, all the bar staff ignored me, despite catching a couple of their eyes and waiting 15mins. Funny how eveyone around me seemed to get served!

After may many years of happy drinking, this will be the very last time I go in there!

Prime location. Strong brand in the international gay community. Loyal, friendly, but stoic clientele.

Lovely bar staff, although a small minority appear to have an attitude issue from time to time.

Management does not come across as being strong, motivated, mature or experienced. Perhaps a reflection on the owners who may have lost their passion for the venture.

Appears to operate well below its potential. More focus, sharpness, leadership and initiative from those at the top should reap the rewards and return that a prime location of this nature merits.

The Bar: Has a great look and feel to it both on the ground floor and in the basement.
The Clientele: Very friendly
Food: None
Bar Staff: Much the same as any other gay bar although one or two have a big attitude problem
Management: The weakest link!
Fish: With most other more Gay bars in the West End using their large wall mounted plasma TVs to show raunchy DVD’s involving scantily clad men, the management at kudos persist in showing the same DVD every night of tropical fish!
