I loved it, just the way it looks inside – upstairs, they’ve got all sorts of different chairs, comfy sofas and cushions. Downstairs is almost like a living room, sofas, small tables, everything in an African kind of style, bongos, drums, painted walls. They’ve also got a lovely little garden at the back of the pub. Bar staff are really friendly and they’ve got some live acts during the week and on the weekends, too, mostly folky/singer/songwriter stuff. They do quite a few different types of beer (apart from the usual ‘big brands’ like Stella, etc.) and have a good selection of wines. They also do really nice food, burgers, wedges, chicken breast and loads of other stuff.
