having lived in the area fpr a number of years and never seen this pub open i was delighted to see it re opened and refurbished.
i ventured in last night and was not disappointed, tim taylors lanlord was excellent as was the guest ale. i spent a couple of enjoyable hours here relaxing by the open fire before saying my goodbyes to the friendly bar staff. all in all an excellent pub and a welcome antidote to the overpriced gastro pubs in the area.
King of Denmark is a family local with live music every Saturday and Sunday.
