ALG Enterprises is the best computer shop in London by far. Jez the manager really knows his stuff with a BSc in electronics. On several occasions I have left his shop with salvaged bits he given me for free. It hard to spend money there if he can see a way of fixing it. And his prices ARE ALWAYS FAR LESS than Pc World. Note that PC World nearby closed down, and so they should. The were the opposite of ALG. Ill trained staff wastfully pushing over priced out of date components. Its better to fix something than replace it, is that not the heart of sustainablility? The philosopy of big corporations like PC World is opposed to this idea. Go to ALG if you belive in sustainablility and getting a fair deal. |

Great service although staff/management seem to live on another planet! Eccentric perhaps describes them best! Seems to be a hub for local computer nerds but the staff know their stuff. Reasoanble prices and all in all a good, efficent service. Would recommend. |
