RJ welsh is a family run buisness and has been operating since I was a child in the 1960s. Today the same owner is running the shop single handedly since her husband passed away. As a child, I remember having to buy Esso Blue from this shop, to heat our parrafin heaters!!!! Those were the days. My mum used to work in the post office across the road with Tim, and everyone was very friendly. I still go back a few times a year and visit RJ Welsh's. Times have changed and things move on, but no-one can keep me from returning to my STOMPING GROUND. Jacqui Aldridge.
