I went there today for some old fashioned curtain wire hooks. I expected that there would be a minimum quantity but there wasn’t . I brought 6.
I was tempted to ask the guy for four candles but thought better of it. (He was probably sick of hearing it anyway) I brought ten large rubbish sacks instead and had change from a fiver. Marvellous shop.

what a fantastic shop there is everything you could ever need. where can you still buy the odd screw you dropped and cant find, the fella behind the counter could not be more help full, open 7 days a week and free delivery if you need, a pure jem of a shop with whats lacking in todays world personal service with a smile, give it a go next time instead of a big chain i bet you might even find 4 candles or fork handles.

Fantastic shop. A real Aladin's cave. Great advice from the owner and an overall much nicer experience than the superstores.

The owner of this shop, Chris, is very helpful, they offer a free delivery service (within reason) and are open 7 days a week.
If they havent got something in stock, he will order it in for you.
They dont just do hardware supplies, but garden furniture, fences, radiator covers, gates made to order, and lots more.
If they are unable to get what you want, Chris has lots of contacts so would be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
He is not pushy like those in B&Q and has time to talk to you and assist you with your purchases.
They are very reasonable and it is nice to support a one man band and keep the business going.
