Frame Factory

I recently had two pictures re-framed here and was very pleased with the service I received. I was given good advice when choosing frames and mounts and then left to make my decision. The pictures look great and the frames are of high quality. The cost I thought was fair for the service provided. All the staff members I dealt with were professional, friendly and helpful. I can't fault them, and would certainly use the Frame Factory again.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't a great one! I recently got a piece framed and apart from the unusually long wait (2 weeks) i'm sad to say quality of workmanship was significantly below par. Its not been two weeks since I got my piece and the painting is coming off the mount (something I have never had happen before, let alone in the same month I get the piece back). When I called the FF they said I could bring it in but that I would be charged for any additional work that would need to be done and the wait would be another two weeks.

Seriously disappointing news, especially considering what I shelled out for the framing in the first place.

Wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

My experience here was a very good one. I had a number of different sized pictures framed and the staff were patient and helpful while we mulled over options and alternatives. The frames were ready on time and had been very well made. I was given some considered advice and suggestions for each of the 8 pictures I took them - and the atmosphere was that of a local workshop rather than chain outfit. Oh, and when they delivered they showed me a small imperfection in one of the finishes on the side of one frame - I STILL can't actually see it! but they gave me 20& off the frame anyway which frankly they did not need to do - but I appreciated their quality control. I recommend.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't a great one. The quality of the framing was perfectly good, but the staff seemed really unenthusiastic. It would have been helpful if the staff had been a little more communicative and friendly. Maybe I just picked a bad day!

Excellent customer service, I was made to feel like I could take as long as I needed to make a decision. They took the time to double check measurements. The price was very reasonable, much better value than a frame shop elsewhere in Islington! They did a fantastic job with 2 prints and I wouldn't think twice about taking art there in the future, fantastic place

I have used the frame factory many times. I have found that they give very good advice about mounts and frames and they do a really good job.
