Joel & Son Fabrics

I do not know any better fabric shop in London than this one. You can find any fabric you want and even more. I enjoy my time in the shop buying or looking around to get inspired for my new creation. Th stuff is very helpful and knowledgeable! I definitely recommend this fabric shop.

I wish I could adequately describe how wonderful this store is! They have extensive stock. They abound in expertise. When you describe what you want, they'll know which hidden corner to look in to find just the perfect fabric or button for you. The latest fabrics and designs from Paris, Milan and London are among your selection. I fly to London from the U.S. a few times each year just to shop in this store. I notice people have come from the Continent and Middle East to shop there at the same time. The personnel could not be more helpful. They are truly interested in what I need, offering incredible suggestions that would never occur to me. They truly understand customer service. If you have a little imagination and rudimentary sewing skills (or a good seamstress), you can have a wardrobe that is the envy of Hollywood stars for far less money. Or spend the same amount to have a real runway look. I always end up the best dressed in the room when I've shopped at Joel and Son. This is what a retail experience should be!

Absolutely wonderful shopping for fabric. I love silk and Joel has a wide and excellent range and of course, up-to-date designer fabric. The service is personable and encourages you to "come back". Since I visit once or twice a year from Trinidad (for the past 9 years), I look forward to visiting the shop, even bringing items of clothing where the boys willingly and expertly help me match fabric with these items. I am also able to get matching buttons for my clothing since they have expanded in this area. Lovely establishment.

I have been going to this fabric shop for 5 years after being recommended by a designer. It has the most amazing array of fabric at various different prices to suite all your requirments. The staff are so help and there are so many you wont need to wait long if you need some help.
To me this is the ONLY fabric shop I use.
