Le Top Shop Cafe

I just couldn't believe the lack of customer service at this spot. As a parent, I just look for a place where my children are welcomed and treated kindly. I would really suggest for this place to try to diversify their clients and be patient and caring with little people. As a parent I certainly did not appreciate having my child told to not scream (when he was just speaking -but the room was totally quiet so it seemed loud at the moment) and to be told I needed to teach my children how to behave. We go out lots and have never been treated like this anywhere else, just the opposite. Needles

I popped into this cafe for a snack one Saturday lunchtime, and from the prices wasn't expecting anything special. But when my meal arrived it was amazing in both quality and quantity (if anything a bit too much, but I managed it all!). Meal and coffee (served with jug of hot milk - a nice touch I thought) came to only £6.99, most reasonable. It was a bit gloomy and also a bit cramped inside (although I was lucky with a window seat which meant interesting occupation people-watching while waiting for my meal) but nothing too off-putting and didn't detract from my enjoyment of the meal. I will certainly use it again when in the area.
