There are many salons in London, but my favourite is definitely Studio Mag. Magda makes you feel like you are in the hands of a true professional - and an artist. The salon is very cosy, the atmosphere is amazing and the products excellent!! I would recomend to everyone who is looking for a trendy and healthy looking hair cut and color!!

I visited studio mag to apply the "sun kissed" effect on my hair. The results were much better than I had expected and everyone keeps asking me where I had my hair done! It's one the of the best salons I've ever visited, not only for the high quality of service but also for the warm and friendly staff in an environment with unique and classy decoration. Magda is the best hairdresser I have. She is a perfectionist so you always leave with the perfect hair cut & colour. She is always very personal and likes to suggests styles which suit your personality and profession. Herself and her team are always on trend with their cuts and own personal style. Additionally it is a warm and relaxing environment, where you can relax. For Central London and the high standard of technique it is a great value hairdressers.

Studio Mag is the best hair studio in London. Magda and her entire staff are true professionals who listen to what you want and always do a perfect job. As an American woman who moved to London I was very nervous to find someone to replace my beloved NYC stylist. Studio Mag has more than lived up to my expectations. Love everything about it!

Magda has cut my hair for over 4 years now and I moved studio when she opened her own! Magda always has an exceptional politeness about her and always consults me before cutting. I love the fact she uses scissors for 95% of the cut as most hairdressers take the easy option and use clippers! As for the wash - Magda has a unique style and the head massage during the washing procedure is a truly relaxing experience. The other ladies in the studio are equally friendly although I have only had one haircut not performed by Magda - which was almost as good!! Good hairdressers are hard to find! Fantastic one's a rarity! Magda is fantastic!!!

After reading recommendations on web, I booked with the acclaimed Magda. My experience was as follows. Consultation before cut? All I was asked was 'Scissor cut?' and that was it: no mention of style, length etc etc. I thought surely she was going to ask more but no that was it so just as she was picking her scissors up, I felt compelled to say more about how I wanted it cut. 'I know, I know' she said. Not sure how she could and from what I walked away with, she clearly didn't. Relaxing hairwash? Not here. Despite booking for a wash and cut, she said she would do wash after the cut. Reason for this soon became apparent as first thing she did was tear into my hair with thinning scissors. Huge lumps fell into my lap when all I wanted was a month's tidy up. I was stunned. The massacre continued as she then lopped off more and more with scissors and then clippers. I had to stop her on a couple of occasions as it was getting so short. She didn't take too kindly to this but then again she hadn't listened to me from the start and certainly wasn't interested in what I wanted or had to say. And yes, hair wash followed. Drying took seconds as there wasn't much left to dry. I can't recall ever having had such a poor haircut (more a thinning scissors/clippers fest) nor a hairdresser who was was so uninterested in what her client wanted. Final word comes from my wife when I walked in the door at home: "Holy ****!! What happened to you...?" Can I recommend Studio Mag? Never. Would I ever go back? Never. Am I annoyed with myself? Yes - after the poor consultation at the start, I should have walked out.

Magda is a really good hair dresser! I found this out when she started working at a friends salon and I was not disapointed.... everytime she cuts your hair she does something different, she makes every cut what you want with her own little twist, she also takes the time to sit down and tell you exactly what she can do to change you current hair style and adjusts what you say to make it suite you, I highly recomend her! i have only had 1 bad cut from her out of the odd 12 i have had :D xxx
