Been using Ray Roughs Roughcut salon for the last 30 years. Always meets my high expectations. Keep up the good work Ray & team.

I would like to let u know that I'm very disappointed with my hair cut, I tried to make my self understood, I even showed a photo.I came in with 1 legged just pass the shoulder and asked for layers, when the hairdresser was finished he s comments was that it not always like the photo!!
But the cut completely different
I'm on a wheelchair and my fingers are not very fixable, I need a cut that I can blast dry
I felt embarrassed I just paid
And left to be honest I've had better cuts @ the hairdressing college , maybe because they have to listen to the client.
I think h's a nice enough

I have been going to Rough Cut for 10 years,always having my hair cut by Debbie, and just wanted to say I have always been very pleased. The atmosphere is relaxed and although the cut is fairly rapid it usually ticks all the boxes,I would recommend salon and stylist

Only a half-hour wait, and the stylist did what I asked. Rough Cut has had a makeover recently, and now has a sleek modern interior with flat-screen televisions. The only drawback was a faint whiff of rubbish bins... (The old interior was like something from Eastern Europe in the communist era.)

I was not satisfied with the quality of the men's haircut I had at Rough Cut. For £27 I received different length on either side of the head and uneven blending between short and long sections. Had to get it repaired elsewhere. There was also no way to pay by debit card. Not recommended.

We are sorry that you didn't get the hair cut you wanted and do apologise. We wondered why you did not say anything at the time as we would have re booked you in immediately to rectify it at a future date free of charge of course.
Many Hairdressers and business's work on a cash basis only, and for 30 years we have never varied our way,there is a cash point very near us and our customers use it all the time.
Hair cuts are a very personal thing, we just may not be the kind of hairdressers you want and this does happen now and again and its best to say if you think its not to your liking at the time.

Brilliant salon. Wonderful service, i walked in and got an appointment straight away, staff were friendly and the hairdresser listened to everything I wanted and did a beautiful job on my hair, wasn't too slow or too fast. It fit into a lunch hr perfectly! Its not that cheap but it was convinient, the service was outstanding and the cut is perfect so I don't mind. I will go back there from now on.

Highly recommended - you make an appointment or walk-in and wait - I have been going to Rough Cut for over 10 years - great up-to-date haircuts - always cut to suit my fine flyaway hair - with friendly service - care and attention - good prices too so real value for money.

Great hairdressers. Been going there for a year now and never been let down. Only annoying thing is that their staff sometimes only work 3 days a week.

Been going to Rough Cuts for maybe 2/3 years now. Always extremely friendly, down-to-earth and give a great haircut. Thoroughly recommend them.

Quite literally a rough cut! I asked to have a long, eye skimmed fringe cut in (I used to have this style a while ago) and clearly explained this repeatedly, asking for it to cover my top lashes. I walked out of the salon with my "long fringe" not even covering my eyebrows.

Thank you for your comment, we are so happy you shared this with us, we are exceptionally surprised to hear about this and wonder very much what went wrong, but for sure your fringe will have grown back within a couple of weeks, it is to say the least a bit drastic to leave a do not go there as we would love to know who it was that didnt listen to you, it would be nice to give you a hair cut any time ...on the house as long as you can varify this mistake! always let us know if your not satisfied right there and then, and we will always re book you in to re -do for nothing that hair style again
