The Avenue Hair Salon

I have been a regular customer here for nearly three years and cannot recommend this salon highly enough! Fuat, who runs the business that was previously his father's, is truly skilled and cuts and colours with precision and dedication. This kind of cut is what you would normally expect in an expensive, glitzy salon, but prices here are great value for money and Fu and Natalie are always warm and welcoming. Having come across the salon when needing a cut whilst in London for the day, I would now not have my hair cut anywhere else!

I called in to The Avenue Hair Salon yesterday without an appointment. I had travelled from Ireland to attend a friend's funeral and wanted my hair done. I had used this salon regularly a long time ago when I lived in the area but that was almost 20 years ago.
Back then this family run salon was a little gem. Now all these years later it has changed, modernised and matured into an absolute diamond. The family values so appreciated by regular customers never fail to charm. Staff are so friendly, experiences and knowledgeable and really listen to client requests. My hair looked the best it has looked in many years. Thank you so much for the advice for after care too. My hair looks as good today as when I left yesterday.

I really did have the best haircut ever at this place. Fantastic price for the quality of experience. Overpriced salons cannot even compete anywhere near the quality and personal touch I recieved here. Run by the lovely Fuat, such a warm guy who is professional, talented and charming. When I first moved to London I went from salon to salon, never happy with my haircut/ colour and always overcharged.. that is until I was recommended to Fu at Avenue Hair salon. Always such a warm welcome from the team and always accommodating. Fu does a fantastic job on my hair and is so conscientious and at such a reasonable price. I now look forward to getting my hair done not to mention the relaxing massage (and it's not the usual half hearted effort i've experienced elsewhere!). Like a previous reviewer I also have frizzy hair and he blow dries it to perfection. Thank you Avenue!

Don't be put off by lack of glitz - this is where you get the best hair cut in town.

I can quite honestly say this is THE BEST hairdresser I've been to in London. Fu does incredible highlights, amazing haircuts, not to mention a dream head massage. He is seriously talented and a real perfectionist, which is exactly what you want! Really delighted to have found someone I can trust and go back to again and again.

Best experience I've ever had at a salon. Fu is a really great hairdresser, and gave a great consultation first, so I felt really confident before he even started cutting, and the cut itself is fantastic. Plus, being a nice guy is always an added bonus! I will definitely be back, and recommend this place to everyone!

This place is amazing, I could not recommend it more! Fuat is an absolute genius: my highlights look gorgeous, and his head massage is divine!! Besides, he's such a pleasure to talk to. Prices are also pleasantly reasonable! By far the best salon in London.

I agree with the previous reviewer - Fuat is brilliant and his dad is a legend! You won't find a better hairdresser, and he's always lovely to see, and it's a great price. And you get a top-quality cup of tea there too!

Fu is without doubt the best hairdresser in London! He cuts my hair so beautifully that he almost does himself out of extra business, as it grows in so nicely, that I don't have to go so often anymore. Everyone always comments on how wonderful my hair looks after a visit to the Fu-meister! His prices are great and the warm welcome from him and his Dad, Hassan, is legendary. I think travelling back from Nepal to get my haircut makes me officially his longest distance customer. That's how good a hairdresser he is!

I am a regular client of Fu's at The Avenue Hair salon. I visit once a week every week and am never disappointed. Fu is really good at cutting and blow-drying and I am so glad to have finally found a hairdresser who can deal with my frizzy hair! The Avenue is a family business and you really feel welcomed and relaxed. Prices are very competitive and Fu is very flexible with appointments, always willing to try at least to fit you in if it's last minute.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and have already brought two family members in the last year.
