great time

I wish I had something positive to say about Headmasters but I can’t find anything. I read the reviews just for I went for my appointment and thought it couldn’t possibly be that bad, but I was wrong! On arrival the place was practically empty, girl came out from the back and said she would be cutting my hair. I was immediately apprehensive and she had pen on her head like someone had drawn on her and she’d tried to wash it off without success. She also stank of cigarettes. She then tried to up-sell me a hair treatment, with the insinuation that if I didn’t want one it must be because I can’t afford it. The actual haircut was done under 5 minutes, the one star that I gave is because she cut it straight, I only asked for a trim, but my hair feels in worse condition now than before. She also then tried to sell me products before leaving, not by asking if i needed them, but telling me, and then looking annoyed when I said no.
Worst hairdressers in Chiswick!

I am very angry with this place (Chiswick). They have this scheme where you meant to be charged less as a 'member' of some sort. I am this member. However today I went in to have my roots done and they charged me more that they did last time when it was a whole head. I raised this matter the woman working on me said its due to the amazing quality of products that it costs this much. Terrible place.

The staff were perfectly pleasant but I can't believe they call themselves a hairdressers. They had no idea what they were doing whatsoever and I had to get my hair dyed THREE times in 1 week. They've completely ruined it and it's now like straw. They tried to make it better by redoing it for free over and over again but they should learn to know what they're doing first. I ended up asking for a refund and going elsewhere. They also spend HOURS over your hair. Definitely don't consider going there, everyone I have spoken to since about it has had or knows someone who's had a bad experien

I am really surprised by the bad reviews.I have never had a bad experience at Headmasters Chiswick.I get my hair done by Belle and my husband by Isabelle and we both love it. The receptionist, trainees that wash hair and our hairdressers are all competent and lovely. Wouldn't go anywhere else! 10/1

I had an appointment booked for a 'Model Cut' today. I was very excited and ready to try this hairdresser for the first time, only to find out to my disappointment that the trainee that was scheduled to cut my hair was on holiday! The main problem was that I was only told this when I arrived at the shop, and wasted a lot of time on a rare day off. I was informed that they were 'unable to leave a message' on my cell, which I doubt as I have received quit a few messages since I booked my appointment around 3 weeks ago. They also never attempted to call me again.
Since they showed such unprofessionalism in a very simple matter as notifying a customer when they cancel a booking, I have my doubts about their ability to maintain professionalism and customer service in other areas. I will not recommend this hairdressers, not even for a free cut.

Been disappointed with them twice now. First incident I was kept waiting 45 minutes for an evening apppointment for cut and colour, a 3 hour process which was started anyway even when the stylist knew there wasnt enough time to do the job properly. I asked if it would be better to reschedule but was assured it would be ok.
My blonde colour came out far too dark as it was taken off 40 minutes early and the cut was rushed and not what i had explained i wanted.
Went in for a fringe trim yesterday and despite saying longer than my eyebrows numerous times I now look like im wearing a wig.

Im normally a big fan of headmasters as good value for money and love the one in clapham south and guildford but will not be going back here.

im so disappointed do not go to this salon.after being told by the hair colourist that she has 31years of experience she completely messed up my colour and instead of brown i came out with black hair!!i was very upset and i had been clear what i wanted.also she charged me for a treatment(£15)without me even knowing it.be aware of the prices for different levels of stylist too.they cost different prices.its safe to say i wont go back there.

I have never been more disappointed with a hair cut in my life. My hairdresser did not listen to what I wanted (a half-inch trim on my shoulder-length bob) but hacked four inch layers into it that have destroyed my hair style and will take at least a year to grow out. The colour was pretty dreadful t0o - orange tinged stripey highlights.

I left the salon fighting back tears and wishing I had never set foot in it.
