I agree with the first reviewer, over the years I have used this jewellery shop, now calling itself Platinum Prestige (with the same staff), much to my regret. I had a ring re-built there at great expense, then when diamonds started to fall out again, they refused to fix it despite sending it off, waiting over three weeks to get a highly expensive quote not the repair that I should have had under warranty. A few years later,I gave them another go, a simple job, take a loop out of a necklace, it took less than 5 minutes, they charged me £6.50 and then the necklace broke the next day at the part where they had worked. They again refused to repair it or give me my £6.50 back. It is the principle more than anything. I will never use them again, the service is appalling, the repairs are expensive and not well carried out with no comeback.

Think long and hard before using this shop. They took almost 4 weeks to change a watch battery because they were unable to replace the back of the watch. They said thay would send it to their watchmaker and it would take one week as they only go there on a Saturday and this was Sunday. I returned to the shop 5 times, each time being when they told me it would be ready. Every time I was fobbed off with excuses such as the watchmaker was unwell, the person who should have collected it had the flu, the person who should have collected it was away on business and other contradictory excuses. I warned them I would not come back and would take the complaint to a small claims court. 3 days later they telephoned to say the watch was ready for collection. Their service is abismal and they are impolite and untruthful, I certainly would not use them again.

Overpriced, rude staff, lack of promised communication, horrible service. They do not care about customers they only care about money.
