I bought a an engagement ring from Eric Ross for my wife just over 30 years ago. My wife was very specific about what she wanted. Eric Ross helped my wife choose the right stones and advised her on the setting and then made the ring to her design. My wife was delighted with it (and still is thirty years later).
Over the years, I have bought my wife various other pieces of jewellery from Eric Ross and she has always been very pleased with them. They are all beautiful designs and are made with top quality stones and very well crafted.

Eric Ross were a really great help for me and my (now) wife for our engagement and wedding rings.
We were always given plenty of time and didn't feel pressured, and Colin and Paul both were really professional and friendly, as well as clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about the diamonds, metalwork and other aspects.
A nice touch was that they also provided additional ring pouches for the day, as well as the usual box - these were really useful! Plus my wife likes the free polishing service...

As I work near Hatton Garden I went wandering along it during my lunch breaks and went in to a few to chat with the people inside.
Colin at Eric Ross stood out for me because he didn't mind that I had a 100 questions from my research and seemed to honestly answer them all. I did not feel pressured to buy anything even though I visited a few times without committing to buying anything.
They have loose diamonds on site to show you and make the right choice, many shops in Hatton Garden do not have loose diamonds on hand to show you which put me off as I wanted to choose the specific diamond.

Visited Eric Ross Jewellers today for Valuation of jewellery for Probate purposes. Although of little commercial value to the company, I was treated in a very professional manner with sympathy by Simon Wiseman. Very efficient and considerate service and I would definitely recommend them.

I went into the store seeking a relatively inexpensive item, and I felt awkward about asking for service on something small when they could be with customers seeking more expensive items. I was welcomed immediately by the staff and treated completely respectfully and clearly valued. I gave an idea of what I was looking for and they responded with a straightforward response - I was shown a variety of products around that range, which I really appreciated. I thanked them and wanted to think about it. They were totally understanding and when I came back later that day to purchase the item, they were just as kind. We have previously purchased items from Eric Ross Jewellers and the shopping experience was excellent. On changing our home insurance we needed to obtain revised valuations for three items, so went along to the shop and were greeted as old friends, nothing was too much trouble and the valuations were done for no charge - 'All part of the service for our customers.' We would highly recommend anyone to shop here as you get very good value for money and a superb shopping experience. Having been to other stores in Hatton Garden, Eric Ross really stand out for friendly non-pressured service.

Visited Eric Ross yesterday for a repair to the claws of my engagement ring. They have their own workshop on the premises so you know that they are handling the work themselves which is reassuring. I lost the diamond from my engagement ring as the claws wore away. I now realise this is very common and can happen at any time after 5 years. Luckily my son found the stone outside our house. I went to Ben at Eric Ross and mentioned that I would like to take the opportunity to adjust the design slightly. Ben knew exactly what I was looking for. The ring was ready within a week or so and honestly it vastly exceeds my expectations . Extremely knowledgeable and helpful service. I highly recommend.

Went to Eric Ross to buy an engagement ring and i can certainly say from my initial interaction to my last, it is clear they are worlds above the other shops on Hatton Garden. ER was one of the first i had walked past looking for a ring and Colin approached me not to sell but to have a chat and give advice on what to look for to get the best deal and the best ring. After looking in all the other shops we ended up going back to sit down and see what Colin could do for us. After looking at all the options we had received some quotes and told that there is no pressure and to let us know if they can do more. A couple of months later we were back to buy this time and Colin not only remembered us but even remembered what we had told him about our wedding to be. He was brilliant and very honest and kind. Ben was sympathetic to our situation and gave us a great deal. Eric Ross give you more than just a ring but a guarantee and service like no one else on Hatton Garden.

I have recently purchased an engagement ring from Eric Ross Jewellers and they were truly fantastic. After many months of extensive research on the internet and in shops throughout the UK I decided to take a trip to Hatton Garden, I can safely say that I visited pretty much every shop over two days and Eric Ross was definitely the best. Ben and his team especially Colin were outstanding in terms of knowledge and service, they were extremely competitive on price and definitely the best value for money in terms of service and quality. I was shown around their on-site workshop by Colin which was brilliant. The selection of stones in which they own and stock is remarkable. Nothing was ever too much and at no point did I feel pressurised or rushed. I left with the stones I liked on hold and soon made up my mind. I needed the ring quickly and it was made and received all within 10 days. Amazing. It is perfect. I will certainly be going back for our wedding bands. Many thanks all.

I went to Eric Ross to get an engagement ring and I was somewhat apprehensive of what the process would be and if the ring could be made within my ever decreasing timescale. Colin was extremely helpful in putting together the perfect ring and guided me helpfully through the entire process. They were able to accommodate the very short timescale that I needed despite it being a very busy time for them. Nothing was too much trouble. There was no pressure at all throughout the entire process. The ring looked absolutely fantastic when complete. Couldn't be happier.

What an experience! In London for the weekend to celebrate my birthday but unbeknown to my lovely wife I had planned a visit to Hatton Gardens to buy her an eternity ring. We looked at a few shops but were most impressed by Clive Ross-Field of Eric Ross Ltd, his knowledge and friendliness was amazing. 50 years in the business counts! We were given a guided tour of the workshop, Clive explained every step in the process of crafting beautiful rings and we witnessed an amazing craftsman at work. It can be intimidating walking into stores and not knowing if you have the worth or class to be treated fairly and honestly. Its hard to know who to trust and what a fair price should be.

One of my colleagues wanted to propose to his girlfriend but was a little lost as to what ring he should buy. Another colleague and I hopped into a cab with him to wander him down the shopfronts along Hatton Garden to get some ideas. Clive from Eric Ross popped out to make sure we were OK and if we needed any help - he must have seen the panic and fear in the groom-to-be's eyes with two bullying workmates. Clive was so super helpful, explaining that my colleague shouldn't be worried about making the wrong choice as if his girlfriend didn't like it they'd change it to something she did like. He ran us all through the gratings of diamonds, was generally wonderful without a hint of hard sell. He was so lovely and made the process so easy my colleague chose and bought a ring on the spot. It was ready for collection the next day. The bride-to-be said yes and loved the ring, they both went back to have the ring resized (for free) and whilst there chose their wedding bands too.

I cannot recommend the team at Eric Ross highly enough. I bought my wife's engagement ring, and our wedding rings, here a couple of years ago and the service from start to finish was fantastic - welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy - and they were very patient as I described the look I wanted and helped me design the perfect ring. Since then, I've had reason to go back a few times - either to have the rings cleaned or to deal with an issue (like when my wife accidentally stood on the ring and bent it!) - and on each occasion the service has been equally great. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would not consider going anywhere else for any future purchases. Thank you very much guys.

I needed to get my engagement ring resized from a 'O' to a 'K'... and I was really nervous about getting it done properly / having scratches / damage to the diamond etc. I read a lot of reviews of different jewelers before choosing Eric Ross... I rang this morning (Friday) and spoke with Colin, who was so nice and reassuring, as desperate as I was to have it done for the weekend he said that he might not do it if there was any risk it wouldn't be perfect. I was really reassured hearing that they put quality over 'quick sell'. I went there and met Simon (AKA Bertie, apparently!) who was so lovely and attentive, professional yet friendly. He helped me chose the correct size and introduced me also to Colin, who fitted my ring and gave advice later when I collected it (yes, done within 4 hours, in their own workshop!!). Altogether a fab service, you would never know the ring was re-sized, no marks, no damage, just a rock that looks bigger ;)

Wonderful service, Clive spent ages with us, helping us select the best emerald he could find in our price range, and mocking up rings so we could choose the design. It was a really special experience having a ring hand-made and choosing the stone; it makes the ring very personal. We visited several other shops in Hatton Garden and no-one could match his quality/price. Several also said he has some of the best stones in the Garden. We were taken up to the workshop where the rings are made on site. Our ring was ready on schedule the following week and we are delighted with it, it is the most beautiful stone and he even mounted it in platinum for no extra charge. Thoroughly recommended!

As usual the service was fantastic and Colin showed us a number of diamonds and explained the qualities and characteristics of each one until we knew that we had selected the perfect stone. Other jewellers were unable to undertake the work or told us that it was not possible, due to the design of the ring, yet Colin, and Paul from the workshop, went through all of the options in great detail and came up with the design that we wanted. They arranged a fitting prior to completing the work and the workmanship of the finished ring is first class. The ring is so much better then we had dreamed of; love it, love it, love it!!!

After spending hours in Eric Ross with Colin patiently showing diamond after diamond with explanation of characteristics etc. we finally managed to choose a stone. The team set it in a ring in no time for collection.

From the moment we got engaged last April to collecting our wedding bands last week for our April wedding, nothing has been too much trouble for Deana, Paul and all the staff at Eric Ross. We had some vague ideas as to the design we wanted for an engagement ring, but through all of the locations we visited in Hatton Garden, the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, and others, the service we received from Paul, from Eric Ross in Hatton Garden, was without comparison.
With Paul, there was never a hint of salesmanship. He was entirely respectful of our tastes and budget, and went to great lengths to help us design the ring, and source the diamond.

Fabulous from start to finish.
I had a number of pieces re-modelled/re-designed. All staff were patient and helpful on my 4-5 visits, providing ideas how to use the diamonds I had. When I finally made my decisions and then returned to collect the finished articles....wow, fabulous, fantastic!
I will now always feel safe and confident in shopping at or having pieces made by Eric Ross.

Have used Eric Ross for years , they have always been the same, polite! helpful and very knowledgeable, and go the extra mile. If I am in the area , they clean and polish my beautiful rings at no cost. Would always recommend them.
