I went here because they were charging relatively little for a half-sole and heel replacement. For just shy of £40, my shoes were returned promptly but with poor quality mexican leather soles, which had been covered in some sort of plastic paint which smells quite strong. I also noticed that some of the paint used to finish the sides of the soles had been smeared onto the upper part of the shoe. I guess you get what you pay for but these were an expensive pair of shoes and even for that money, I've have expected greater care to have been taken.
