I had a picture taken there for a British passport. When I uploaded it to the Passport Office’s website it was rejected as “poor’.
Showing the screenshot as proof I asked for my money back, but the guy in the shop refused to refund me, saying he knew his job and that the £16 I had paid for it wasn’t that much anyway. When I told him that I would consider reporting him for his sub-standard work, he threatened me claiming he still had my picture on his PC. Needless to say that he refused to delete it. If they keep copies of all passport pictures plus the e-mail addresses they send them to, there is an obvious risk of misuse and identity theft. Hence, this shop is best to be avoided.
