City Slickers

The repair people here are great, do small jobs sometimes for free, never expensive and very experienced, drycleaning fast, trerrific service very friendly and helpfull with everything.

I most definetly don't agree with the negative reviews! I have gave them a full suit, a jacket, and two silk very delicate shirts at noon yesterday, and they got everything ready for 6 pm. I was particularly pleased to see the quality of their job, especially on the shirts, which had a high potential to get ruined. Their price, including the 'emergency' fares are good.

I have been in recently and was delighted with the service provided, i placed a suit for dry cleaning and i came back in immaculate condition.

Don't agree with the previous reviews, all of my experiences have been extremely positive.

Decent prices, done on time and clothes always come back well presented. As far as I'm concerned you give them your clothes, get them back to a good level of service and then pay - what else do you need from a dry cleaners? I recommend them.

I took a jacket in and noticed a button was missing. There was no apology, the guy just pointed to a sign that listed various items that they were not responsible for, buttons, zips, buckles etc... He then said he'd find a button from somewhere to match the other buttons on my jacket, which I was not happy with. Lucky I had the spare button on me but when I expresses that I wasn't happy, especially as I was giving them my spare button for their mistakehe just shrugged. Then when they have it back they'd sewed the in the wrong place! Absolutely this place like the plague...absolutely shockin

I took some keys into be cut, one key was cut on key template that was a different size to the master key. I went back into the shop to explain next day, was left waiting and had to leave for work. Agreed that I would pick the keys up at lunchtime. No word of apology or recognition of the mistake. I went back in and waited while the keys were cut there and then. Again, no recognition of the customer experience or the job not being done properly in the first place. I haven't tried the new set yet, wish me luck!!

HORRIBLE!!!! Don't go there unless you want to get your clothes damaged...They refused to give any kind of compensation!!!! Really horrible customer service!!! Does not even deserve 1 star.

Trusted them to polish and re-heel one pair of boots. On collection there were large gaps where they hadn't applied any polish leaving my tan boots dalmation like. They hadn't even removed the laces before polishing. When I questioned why something so elementary such as removing laces before polishing had not been done The response was " are you telling how to do my job", followed by, "life is too short to worry about shoe laces".

Clearly life us too short to worry about customer service as far as City Slickers is concerned. Avoid like the plague!

Appaling service, no apologies for leaving a long deep scratch on my shoes. High turnover of staff doing the shoes repair. Over my dead body to ever go back again.
