I never leave online reviews of businesses but I was quite impressed with Alex's 2 Hour Dry Cleaning. I came by on Monday, to ask when their opening times were, found out that they were about to shut but the kind lady let me go home and grab my coat to bring. £20 for dry-cleaning and some minor repairs was a bit pricey for me but seems average for the area. It was ready by 6pm Tuesday, patched up and as soft as when I bought it.

Bought a brand new ultra delicate silk Moschino scarf for my mother and dropped it on drops of oil straight away... not good. Brought it to these guys, they said they'd try their best to get it out.
It was ready next day, the scarf had not been damaged (unbelievable given that it was virtually cloud soft silk) and the stains were pretty much taken care of as best as they could without damaging the scarf.
I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. I was reasonably charged for the services given that they could not get them out completely.
I will be back for anymore stain cleaning

The finest customer service I have experienced in my 3 years in London.
The proprietors of this establishment are professionals in the truest sense of the word; they are clearly passionate about their job, and take the utmost pride in the quality of their work.
The service is phenomenally friendly and accommodating; e.g. will provide an even quicker turnaround on repairs or cleaning if you require it.
The DRY CLEANING of both suits was top quality, and very reasonably priced.
The REPAIRS to my suit was absolutely fantastic. Invisible repairs, top quality and extremely cheap.

I have a silk dress I needed cleaned (and was a bit nervous as another dry cleaners I used in London had managed to ruin my dress). I found out about Alex's 2 hour dry cleaners. They did a perfect job. The dress came back absolutely spotless and in perfect condition and it was ready the same afternoon. There is a really sweet old man and a lovely lady there who deal with the customers. The prices are unbelievably good. I paid £7, so this place is now officially my dry cleaners.

Yes the cute little old man got the marks out from bubbles I spilt, but at the same time turned my off white dress, grey and dirty looking. Putting that on, I would look like a dirty, poor, crusty girl. It's awful. he's completely ruined it :(

Alex's 2 hour dry cleaners saved me from sartorial disaster, by cleaning my one good frock for a wedding when all other dry cleaners in London were shut over Easter weekend. If you telephone, you'll get a bonkers sounding man who rants and rages and puts the phone down in mid-conversation. In person, he's a charming pussy. And very cheap. My frock and trousers cost a bargain fiver to clean, compared to £19 I was quoted by the only other dry cleaner I could find open in WC1 + 2 (Marchmont St). Thanks Alex. I will go to the ball! (OK, wedding)
