I've wanted a tattoo for ages & at 45 decided it was about time I did something about it! I researched tattoo artists in London and Skunx came out top. So I made an appointment with the very friendly Jane at reception, left a £40 deposit & Julia Seizure was booked. Although I left Julia some artwork with my concept, we also exchanged ideas by email. On the day, she did a really vibrant and beautifully detailed tattoo. It is healing well & the colours are stunning. The whole experience from start to finish was professional. I felt in reliable hands. Skunx comes highly recommended.

Fantastic experience, excellent work and incredibly professional staff. This is by far the best shop around and it's worth every penny. Nick Skunx is great. You feel relaxed throughout your tattoo, which is a bonus! some shops can be a bit daunting, especially for those of us with only a few tattoos, but you will feel at ease as soon as you walk in. I plan to keep going back to get my work finished and would recommend this shop to anyone serious about tattoos.

I went to Skunx to get my rook changed yersterday - Manu does the piercings. I had my rook changed in January somewhere else but it was beginning to swell. Came to Skunx and Manu was really nice. Explained to me what was wrong and gave me some advice. He warned me that changing the bar was going to be painful because it was so tight but actually because I felt so ease with him, barely felt any pain. Considering going to get a piercing with him in the future. So far I would say he might just be the best piercing guy I have been to - I have ten piercings by several people.

I traveled from Australia on a holiday and last minute my friend and I decided to get a tattoo. It was my fifth and her first.

Kerry did ours, although shes left, absolutely everyone at the shop were amazing. My friend was sitting there worrying about the pain and Skunx employees were happy to sit with her and calm her down.

The work is impeccable and each and every artist takes pride in there work. They will quite happily provide you with suggestions on placements etc. what will work and what wont.

Im in the process of planning a trip back so I can get another tattoo :)

I've been using Skunx and their artists for years now and everything I've ever had done has been of exceptional quality. If you're unsure about the industry and new to tattooing then Skunx is bang on the money and will not disappoint you. All I can say from the point of view of someone with more tattoos than plain skin is Skunx is right at the top of their game. Speaking of which I think it's about time for another one...

Skunx is an absolutely amazing place to get your tattoo! My friend and I were in London for Christmas/New Year and decided we'd get a tattoo while we were there as a momento (we're from Australia). BEST. CHOICE. EVER! It was my first tattoo and Kerry did an amazing job but it wasn't only her that made it awesome, but everyone that works there. The atmosphere is fantastic and puts you at ease - especially if you're a bit anxious like I was - and everyone there is amazingly talented. I can't wait to be back in London and get another tattoo!

Great bunch of people and amazing artists make Skunx tattoos what it is... The best tattoo shop in London! Highly recommend (and I have done on many an occasion) looking forward to my next visit, hopefully very soon!

Not very well prepared I ended up in Skunx in 2012 to get my 4th piece done. Immediately I felt at ease. The shop is clean and nice to be in. I only had a rough idea about the design, and Steve gave me suggestions, and helped me out in finding the most perfect way to get this tattoo done without pushing me into something I didn't wanted. 1 year later, I went all the way back, to get another one done by Steve. Next february, I'll be travelling there again, to get my third one, and I already know 2015 will be no different. It's a long way to travel to get a tatt, but if you want the best.

Personally I've had 2 tattoos done here but my husband has had a full sleeve & many more done by Nick. ( check out the Winston Churchill portrait on the website!) A very professional hygenic set up & lovely people too!! Always welcoming & friendly and reasonably priced, I find you get what you pay for & the guys tattoos are all of the best quality. You will not be disappointed

I had my first tattoo at age 40 at Skunx in October 2009. I was nervous, i need not have worried, my tattoo was perfect, I love it. The detail is incredible and the guys were brilliant in the shop. I travelled from the west midlands specially for it. Well worth the 300 mile round trip. Thanks, Liz

My daughter and I spent a couple days in London last summer. On our last day there we went to Skunx to get "souvenirs" of our trip. We showed Chris pictures of what we each wanted and he got us both done with exactly what we wanted and we still made our flight. The shop was clean and comfortable and the staff extremely professional. Should I ever make it back to London I'd go back in a heartbeat. Anyone I know that goes to London will definitely get recommended to go there.

Love my proud little fox Kerry did on my foot! Lines are straight&solid,&the shading is great. Kerry is lovely &everyone made me feel comfortable.I had no problems with healing& the price was reasonable.It was my London souvenir I got before moving back to Aus,but I'll be back next time I'm in tow

What can I say other than thank you. I had a memorial tattoo done yday by Chris Hatch and it is everything I wanted and more. All of the guys in the shop were lovely and made me feel very welcome And at ease. Chris was great he really listened to what I wanted. Can't recommend this place enough

Nick Reid can't tattoo anythink good! You pay for an hour and only get halfhour out of it because he is to busy being rude to you, on his phone, chatting to everyone or outside smoking. I recommend you go somewhere else

I'm a very regular customer at Skunx i get booked in as often as i can!!! I absolutely love this tattoo parlour!! From the moment you walk in your greeted as a valued customer unlike other shop's i've visited, you get good honest advice here, they'd rather turn down a tattoo than risk one that isn't the best it could be!! The shop is a clean and comfortalbe enviroment, the manager and staff are constantly on top of hygine which was a massively important factor for myself and my boyfriend who is also a regular at the shop!! Everyone is ridiculously friendly, I think its nice to build i nice relationship with somebody who is going to be tattooing me!! I get tattooed by Nick Reid he's the manager an if i'm honest i dont think i'm ever going to get tattooed be anybody else, he is by far the best tattooist i've ever come across, all the artist in the shop are exceptional. Despite only being tattooed by Nick i've seen first hand the work that the other's in the shop have done and its fantastic!! They really are all artist's actual artist's, as in the tattoo trade you come across a lot of trace's as oppose to people with actual artistic talent. Everyone at this shop is talented!!! I always have bundles of fun at the shop and i fully consider everyone working there a friend!!!

If your thinking of getting inked and you haven't checked these guys out......well then your an idiot!!!!!!!! I'm very proud of the work i've had done here and its the first place i recommend whenever i get the chance!!

Wicked place 2 get tattooed i live in Southampton but Ive traveled up to London twice now I'm having a sleeve done by nick Reid who is a very talented guy .. i have been to a few local tattooist in Southampton and to be honest they are s**t!! skunx were really helpful from the first email they make u feel really welcome too !! shop looks ace too really good atmosphere well worth a visit trust me !! cant wait to go back in may 2010 . david from Southampton
