The most unprofessional estate agents I have ever dealt with! They took us to see a flat with a leak from the property above that hasn't been fixed. When I asked when the flat would be available they said: now but we would just have to put up with the problem (and the smell!!!) until the work was complete - work that hadn't even been scheduled in yet as the tennants above have been away for the last month!?!
We did actually make an offer on another property they showed up but then viewed a far superior one with another agent and made an offer on that one too. I emailed Howard Estates to explain and said that I understood they would continue to show the property and if someone else paid their deposit then so be it.
We decided in the end to go with the property through a different agent and after letting Howard Estates know, I received an extremely rude and abusive email and text message!!
I would strongly advise anyone NOT to use these unprofessional and unpleasant agents!!
