Was there last autumn, and hope to be back in October. Fantastic place, I only wish it was much bigger... And two most helpful gentlemen working there!

Lovejoys stocks a very good range of classic 1920s - 1950s films, also crime films, including many unavailable in HMV. I don't know of another shop in London which provides this number of classic films, including more obscure titles like Douglas Sirk's The Tarnished Angels. It also has a wide selection of books on films and music. As most of the books In Lovejoys are remaindered it's important to buy them when you see them as new supplies may not always be available. Helpful staff, convenient location.
