very difficult to get information about books available, as the departments concerned do not seem to be interested in answering the telephone. even worse response in Piccadilly where you do not even get through to general enquiries, and the telephone just rings for ever and ever. On a background of extreme crises and constant threats of closure for bookshops this kind of customer relation is a suicidal strategy. I would like to encourage the survival and existence of bookshops, but no wonder many of us frustrated customers end up in the welcoming arms of Amazon.
