A great independent local bike shop that provides a great service. They will always only sell you what you actually need rather than what you think you want/might need. The only problems are long waiting times for a bike service (thats because they are popular and good at what they do) and top end kit can be expensive compared to online but that is the downside of all small independent bike shops. (Buy the kit online and get them to fit it).

Great service! All the staff are experienced cyclists, they don't talk down to customers and are amazingly helpful.

I can't recommend the shop highly enough, if you are want a hybrid or an awesome road bike they will advise appropriately.

The technical work is to a very high standard, they actually understand how gears work, and can install groupsets without damaging beautiful frames.

All round this is a model bike shop that other should strive to match, the only reason I have given them a 9 is that some of their shelf stock is not very competitive.

A great local proper bike shop - great cost cutting service and advice. Really friendly and helpful staff and a place of character - a rare treat amongst the corporate horrors. My only gripe is that you can not book a service time in advance and thus minimise the time you are without your bike.

WFH is on my ride to and from work. I have had work done with them which was done quickly and at a reaonable cost.
Howvever, they have often recommended things to be done which cost nothing at all, or are much cheaper than the work I had asked for.
They ave on several ocasions done minor running repairs and made no charge at all. A bike shop for bike people without the intimidatory atmosphere one gets from many cycle specialists.
