The Pewterers received their first royal charter 1473, which was established to regulate the trade. Today, the Pewterers are more involved in charitable work and the provision of scholarships. The Pewterers Hall is available for hire and can cater for up to 70 dining guests and receptions for up to 120 people upon request.
