Place is a joke! Depressing, dreary atmosphere to say the least. Nobody communicates with anyone and you feel your being treated like a child. Another issue, why have a phone when you never pick up. NEVER! There so called Jobclubs are even worse!!

This is the worst place I have ever been to. I unfortunately was made redundant and so had to come in and sign on. The staff were unhelpful and couldn't care less about what my situation was or even helping me out of it. Biggest waste of time. I have now managed to find myself a new job without the help of the job centre and its staff, who are more concerned about getting out on time and complaining they are not on holidays, totally inappropriate when there are people who truly want and need the help getting into new jobs. I didn't appreciate being spoken to like a time wasting scrounger.

The way the stuff in Romford job centre treated me sorry I had to say her name: KHANTA SAJJANHAR She just too rude, had an interview with her my god never knew people like her really exist? It was the worst interview that I had in my life, the way she spook to me was out of limit if I was just as rude as her then it would big augment so I just let it off I mean people go to job center to get help /advice not to be put down or be spook to with an bad mean attitude …all my life I have been paying full tax and the time that I lose my job that is the time were I need help the most but instead of that I got this from the stuff “if I can get myself a jobs then why can’t you “???????? We’ll let me tell you when you fall into my Situation then you will understand

ALL I AM SAYING IS IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB OR LIKE GIVEN ADVICE THEN LET SOMEONE ELS TAKE THE POSITION WHO CAN REALLY DO IT WITH A SMILE ON THERE FACE THANK YOU!!!!!

I have just unfortunately been made redundant, and having read some of the reviews here was not looking forward to having to go into the job centre, however the staff I have spoken to so far in the job centre could not be more helpful.

The jobcentre staff are rude and talk down to you, like you are five years old. I've never been unemployed but felt treated like a school child. The staff on signing are under pressure and one lady seems to be doing all the work while the others sit there chatting. What happened to the good old days of team work. I will look forward to the day i sign off .

After finally getting through after ringing number after number on a premium rate I finally got through on a local rate number, I found them all to be completely unhelpful. Was not impressed with the message I felt they were trying to promote, they should be helping to get jobs not boosting people to claim job seekers. I was basically told unless I gave up work/college/trials they couldn't help me.

I thought it was pretty bad considering.

Do not answer their phones, place looks dreary and depressing. Staff are not helpful at all, especially in terms of helping you to look for jobs when you are on jobseekers allowance. Such an awful service, I cannot wait for the day when I will never have to step foot in one again.

You are not prompt to reply. Not accessible on the phone. For some reason your phone line is dead.
