It seems that David and Victoria Beckham are going to be hitting the big screen as plans get underway to chart David’s rise to fame in film. Tom Cruise has stated that he is planning to create this film as his first brainchild since splitting with film giant Paramount earlier this year.
Tom’s fiancée, Katie Holmes has stated that she would like to play Posh although there is no indication that Tom will be playing Becks alongside her. An insider has stated: “Tom has a brilliant grasp of what the public want to see and thought David’s story was wonderful…A football star emerges from humble origins, there’s drama within the matches and romance in his love affair with Victoria at the height of her pop star fame.”
In order to secure her role, Katie will have to work on her accent. Fortunately, Posh and Katie have become close friends recently so at least she will have a wonderful teacher for her quest.
