Alba Restaurant

I have been taking guests to Alba for some years and generally had good meals and good service, however last week I was very dissapointed. I was taking my research team (three people) out for a thank you meal, despite booking in advance the table was not ready for us. The restuarant was not too busy when we arrived at 12.45 but we had to wait to order and then we had to wait for over an hour for our main course to arrive. We tried to order bread and olives at the beginning of our meal but they did not have olives. How can an Italian restuarant not have olives? I had to ask for the bill when our main course arrived as by this time it was gone 2.00pm and I needed to get back to work. I was brought the wrong bill I did tell them as it was less than our bill and then had to wait again while they found the correct bill. On top of the poor service we were charged 12.5% service charge. I understand for other colleagues at the university they have also had similar expereinces recently. I wish I had known.
