I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. My boyfriend and I wandered in to be nearly knocked over by a seemingly stressed waitress (there were a handful of people in the place) which was just the start of the cold and unfriendly service we received. We took a seat upstairs, only to wait to be acknowledged by a waitress (serving only 2 tables) who passed us by without recognition at least four times. I was ready to leave but my boyfriend suggested we stay as we were both rather hungry. My boyfriend eventually go the girls attention and asked for a menu, she mutely handed us one and ran off. I caught her eye after 5 mins and we ordered, again she was mute and didn't even look at us when we ordered. The speed of the food was efficient but we were left without cutlery whilst she served someone else. I had to call across the room to ask for some. The english breakfast was cold, scramble eggs were powered eggs and toast was dry, there was a heap of greasy mushrooms and 3 tiny hash browns. I asked for butter which never arrived and she mixed up my tea with my boyfriends, which we didn't realise until i had put sugar in and then my boyfriend had to suffer an expensive £2.35 sugary tea.We didn't get approached by the waitress again and when we asked for the bil she just raised her eyebrows and left us standing like fools for a while. Then she ushered us downstairs, and asked what table we were at (if you have had the unfortuante chance of visiting here, you will realise that the place is tiny and she should not have had to ask) and put the bill through...with a gratuity charge! We asked for it to be removed and left without being asked how our meals or drinks were, absolutely disgusted at the most unpleasant place we have ever eaten at in London. Small business who are the first to suffer in todays climate need to provide good service, J,D Wetherspoon offer a hot breakfast at half the price with all condiments and staff with voices and sometimes personalities

I will never forget this place. We went there with my best friend after we saw an advert about Zodiac cocktails in the window. When walked in we were greeted by a bubbly waitress and she took us to the table by the window that as she explained was the best table in a restaurant as we could observe people outside and enjoy armchairs:) We ordered food and mentioned above zodiac cocktails that after we found out were only £5 each because of happy hour. We loved them!!!! After we finished eating we had a chat with our waitress who made us try their desserts. Home made brownie and cheesecake were marvelous. We also had a quick word with the chef on her way out. All of them were very friendly and in the end they gave us our star sign cards for us to come back. We definitely will when back in London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any of the ‘cosmic feel ‘when I went to 12th house on Pembridge Road. Despite the beautiful interior (it’s a small place but I loved the whole old-fashioned style that was going on there, the wallpapers, the curtains..!)- after our first order, staff were either not available or unfriendly as if having to go downstairs to actually place another order after having waited for about 20 minutes [which is rather annoying since you do pay a bit of money for the (miniature) drinks – we had some cocktails that were quite nice tho ]have to say, but way to small for their price- ] was a privilege of the guests.
So looks-wise it’s a beautiful place, but unless they have a word with their staff you can’t really say the same about the service.

Worst place ever!
After the dinner which was just OK; nothing fancy, we saw 3 mice near our table. The owner did not even bother to apologize when we said there were mice in the restaurant.
We ordered a 2nd bottle of wine, and 10 min later the owner was chasing us out in a very rude and impolite manner. When we said that they should have warned us that they were closing before opening the bottle, they insulted us.
Do not go there unless you like people screaming at you and a lack of hygiene.
