The food here is standard brasserie stuff, but well cooked, and supported by a surprisingly interesting and good value wine list. The Islington branch is very child friendly - staff cheerfully filled weird orders (a glass of crushed ice and two spoons for the under fives) and got kids plates out fast. Possibly because it is genuinely child friendly, it doesn't feel overrun with kids - they just blend in happily. Great place for family lunch.
