When the owners bought this historic building, the focus was return the building to its original function as a private home (as in a palace). It is devoted to the arts of entertainment and fine cooking. The outside was built in 1771 and Robert Adam created the original interior. Now, it has retained much of the Neo-Classical grandeur of the 18th Century. There are 18 lavishly decorated bedrooms as well as a health spa in the old servants quarters.
