Been there 3 times in the past 6 weeks, 1 good meal 2 not so good, service generally poor, for me time to move on! maybe it's the in place to be seen and living on a reputation from long ago.

starters were fine --generous in portions and very tasty. four main courses ordered, spring lamb-too rare-sent back-when returned it was unedible,tough and tasteless. waitress offered alternative so had a mozzerella salad,as others now finished meal.I was offered a free dessert but declined. When the bill arrived we had been charged for the salad, we asked to see the manager as 3 out of 4 had not been satisfied with thier meals, the manager did not appear! WE will not be visiting this restaurant again.

A good atmosphere, but not recommended for large parties, unless you fancy tepid food after an interminable wait & inattentive (if friendly) table staff. Previous visits for 2-4 diners were fine, but Sunday lunch for 20 wasnt an experience I'd willingly repeat.

£80 for a one course meal for three with 2 beers and 3 glasses of house wine! Had the food been sumptuous it might have been bearable but the portions were tiny, mostly made of salad leaves. I kid you not, the food was hardly visible on the plates!

Service was abrupt bordering on discourteous. Avoid this place if you like value. Avoid it too, if you don't mind expensive but like to be treated well.
