We booked The Assembly for a private party on 10th April 2010. We found the service EXCELLENT, the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the evening which lasted well after the regular finishing time. The whole experience was wonderful and we will consider booking again for our next party. During the preparation for the party we were impressed with the staff remembering us and taking time to answer the plethora of questions we had. We also enjoyed an excellent meal whilst planning our special event. We would like to say THANKYOU to all those involved! Its a great place for a party! |
Great food. Nice, open spaces. Bad service!!! One "sell, sell, sell" waitress, who was offended when we didn't upsize our glass of wine to a bottle, then overcharged a small for a large, soured the experience. According to her, the 10% "optional" service charge is MANDATORY! Also recommended a wine. Found out later £8.80/glass. Manager helpful and apologetic. Would go back as food was great! Just be weary of the waitresses!!! |
