I am surprised to visit here. It near my house. But i never try curry from here. But i recently make one dinner in tandoori Garden. I think it was my best dinner in any indian restaurant. Curry was perfect and great service, they are friendly with their customers.

Absolutely amazing. The Vindaloo here is not your tomatoes, pasty standard pub curry; the ingredients are always very fresh, the effort that goes into the dishes really comes through in the flavour. I get takeaway often an love these guys. Also the king prawn biryani is just incredible.

I absolutely love this place and always go here, whether its because I can't be bothered to cook or with friends. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is immaculately presented and tastes as good as it looks: I particularly recommend the chicken e chanpuri, but everything else is also excellent. Even the home delivery service is great, with satisfying portions arriving fresh and warm, just on time.

Definitely a place to be avoided unless you enjoy average food and terrible and rude customer service.

We ordered takeaway food (collection) from Tandoori Garden a few times. The food is average but cheaper than other curry houses in the area. Hence we order it if we fancy a cheap mediocre meal!

The menu clearly mentions 10% discount on collection only orders and but they never bothered to give that discount. After several occasions of being over charged, one day we tried to raise that issue stating that they are not giving the discount as stated in their menu.

The (so called) manager tried his best to misguide us about it and refused to give the discount. When we persisted that we want the discount, he started to shout at us, with abusive words. He finally said, “why do you bother to buy food from us when there are other curry places around” and asked us to get lost.

So the customer gets shouted at by the manager because we wanted the discount we deserved!!!

Amazing restaraunt and service, It's been around for a while and I have been using it as my local for 10-11 years since I moved to the area. The fact that it has been running for 12+ years says it all. The manager is really nice, always welcoming whenever I see him and knows me by my name. The food is always good whether we eat in or take-away, the prices are superb, especially for the area, and the restaraunt has a nice ambience, family friendly. Definatley give it a go, and try the lamb tikka! second to none.

We have ordered our take-away from Tandoori Garden last night. We have been looking forward to Indian take away for a few days and to our disappointment when the food arrived half the containers were full of oil. It was so oily and tasteless we could barely eat it. Not only it tasted horrible and nothing like indian, me and my partner have ended up with upset stomachs for the rest of the day. I surely will not be ordering another take away from Tandoori Garden.

I went to Tandoori Garden today (1st of July) and this is the first time I had ever been to tandoori garden and it was superb! My children loved it and I loved it the food was excellent quality and the price was cheap for what you got. You had to wait for a while but the wait was well worth it and it is such a peaceful place, fabulous just fabulous and I highly recomened this restaurant.

We visited Tandoori Garden recently as we live local and it is probably the worst and most filthy restaurant i have been to. The food was ok, not even good. But the reason I gave this place a 1 is firstly the toilets were disgusting, they smelt really bad and looked as though they hadnt been cleaned in a long time.

The main reason though, is I accidently walked into the kitchen instead of the toilet, and i was shocked with what i saw. Buckets of chicken breast on the floor, rather than in the fridge. The floor was filthy and there must have been 5 or 6 chefs, with 2 of them smoking over the food they were cooking. But the fact that they had food on the floor was the worst part. We left soon after and will never go back!!!

We went to the Tandoori Garden on Sat 20th March 2010; all I can say is the front of this restaurant does not do it justice. The meal and service was the best we have had for such a long time, nothing was too much trouble, presentation of every course was 10/10, great atmosphere. Locals use this which is always a good sign and the amount of takeaways going out is a testament to the high quality food that this establishment produces to the local residents. We will go back in the future with out fail.

Contrary to the previous post, my friend and I (both vegetarian) enjoyed an excellent meal at Tandoori Garden last night. The food was delicious, the staff polite and welcoming, and the surroundings were comfortable. We found Tandoori Garden to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, and look forward to going again.

As we live just up the road we have been using this restaurant for awhile and recently the place has gone down the toilet.

Not only has the quality of food deteriorated so too has the service. Our friends have long since stop using Tandoori Garden for this reason.

Tonight we ordered take-away for convenience and will NEVER use them again. Our oder took one and half hours to arrive. The driver called us twice lost and took a further half an hour to find us 2 streets away.

When our meal arrived it was stone cold and incomplete. When we called up to complain and ask for the rest of our order (which we had paid for) to be redelivered both the staff and management screamed down the phone at us.

Apparently because the regular driver was sick we were supposed to accept a cold meal. We were also told that it would be another 45 mins for the rest of our order to arrive and that we would have to pay for it. So not only were were not compensated for our cold and incomplete meal, we were also being rudely asked to pay again.

If you enjoy rude service and fairly average quality food go to Tandoori Garden - you'll love it. Otherwise, FIND SOMETHING ELSE!
