The Wine Press is owned by small family business with a history of bars and restaurants in the city over the last 30years. Our 150 seat bar & restaurant has recently undergone a stylish refurbished. Introducing a new chef, Ben Tamlyn (Angelsea Arms, Fat Badger) we offer modern European cuisine with Italian overtones including a small gourmet thin crust pizza menu for those who want something quick and easy. The name suggests a good wine list and sure enough we have something for everyone, form old world to new. What makes the wine press unique is that it’s family run. Our menu is diverse and unique and the addition of live music and other events in the evening adds to the originality of The Wine Press.
