Description
Opened in February 1995 by Chef Proprietor Bruce Poole and restauranteur Nigel Platts-Martin, Chez Bruce occupies the former site of Marco Pierre White's 3 Star Harveys Restaurant.

Poole aims for culinary excellence, in an informal yet thoroughly professionally run environment. Food is based upon classical and regional French cooking, looking towards the works of Elizabeth David, Jane Grigson, Richard Olney and Larousse for inspiration.

You will find old fashioned braises and daubes alongside delicious offal preparations and lighter, simply grilled fish and meat alternatives on the menu. Chez Bruce favours simply plated but immaculately prepared desserts too, with the cheese board forming an integral part of daily life at the restaurant.

The restaurant is consistently named among 'Londoners' Favourite Restaurants.
