Contrary to its unappealing exterior, Hana is a small restaurant serving surprisingly good Japanese food, including a few Korean dishes as well.

I lived above this restaurant for a year before venturing in, and I'm glad that I did. We have visited this place several times since. The staff are great, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I am from Vancouver, Canada, where fantastic, inexpensive Japanese food is available on every corner and sushi is the lunchtime meal of choice at least once a week. I've been in London three years now and last night finally found the perfect place to indulge my cravings for inexpensive sushi, agadashi tofu, tempura and fresh sashimi. A lovely, unprepossessing place on Seven Sisters Road a few blocks south of Finsbury Park station, Hana is definitely worth the trip.

I think they also deliver so pick up a menu on your first visit!

A small restaurant with a warm friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff and authentic-tasting japanese food. A winning combination. We were really impressed with the quality of the food, particulalry the ingenious gyoza maki (vegetarian dumplings wrapped like rolled sushi) and the crunch maki (tempura wrapped like rolled sushi). The sashimi was really fresh, well cut and presented beautifully. We will definitely be going back to this little gem. Pretty good value for money too.
