This is to update comments as of today, a Sunday evening where three of us dined. The owner was on her own, serving and cooking with help from a friend (who used to run Smiles nearby). We were not in a hurry. Real Singa and Chang beer were £5.50 big bottles (not from Reading!). Food was lovely. The owner has a heart of Gold and runs the place as a bar, late night at weekends with some local bods hanging out. Decor is like a living room with a small Thai shop by the entrance! It is quirky and quaint! Do not expect slick. We 3 dined and were well pleased at £80 inc tip, two bottles each

sassyv2 says... I ate there once, and once only. I pre-ordered food for collection on Friday night. I was told the food would be ready in 30 minutes. I duly set off 30 minutes after making my order and was told the food was not ready. I ended up waiting 1 HOUR, so in total 1.5 hours for my food and was given no apologie.

To add insult to injury when I arrived home, I noticed a foul smell coming from the two large rices I had ordered. When I opened them it was plain to see that the rice was creamy and off colour and had DEFINATELY GONE OFF!. I drove back to the restaurant to complain, was offered to have a new batch of white rice made up on the spot, (I declined) The women manager mumbled a weak response, gave me back the money for the rice, and tried to move me out of the door before her other customered complained. STAY AWAY. DID NOT MEAN TO GIVE 5 STARS PREVIOUSLY

My partner and I have been to just Thai Thai about 8 times now. We have always had a wonderful time here. The food is wonderful and Even if it dose take a while for it to appear, the wait is well worth it. The staff are always very lovely and I feel welcome every time we go there. They will even make food that is less spicy for you and even bring you stuff to try. I hope the negative reviews have not put people off. Do go and try this restaurant and I hope you will have as lovely a meal as I always have when I go there.

We had a fantastic meal in this lovely little local Thai restaurant. The food was brilliant and the service very friendly. We need to support our local businesses if we want them to stay!

After a long wait for takeaway spent watching a man drink a can of guiness in the restaurant, I am sad to say that when we unwrapped the food at home, it tasted old and stale. One of the worst meals I have ever spent money on.
I have never complained in a restauarnt before, but I just had to phone to complain. Unbelievably, the 'chef' actually phoned back to justify her food demonstrating a lack of insight.

I am a pregnant woman who lives in the area, have visited this restaurant a couple of times in the past, and have been dissatisfied with their service.

Most recently, whilst out shopping, I was caught short. They point blank refused to let me use their toilet, even though I explained the situation. Thankfully a nearby eatery was more helpful.

We were looking for a local place to eat and decided on thai thai. The place was empty and we realised why. The food was not genuine the yum moong sent was warm instead of cold as it should be and the fried fish was defrosted and smelt very fishy. We will sadly be giving this a miss in future which is a shame as its right on our doorstep and the decor looks genuine thai.
Also the prices are excessive so I cannot recommend this place at all

Wanted to stay local - BIG MISTAKE! the place was empty this is obvoiusly a sign but we wanted to try it anyway. We were in for a big shock! The starters were not fresh it was just frozen stuff that was thawed out and fried. The main dishes were more Greek than thai. These guys should be shut down for good. Do not go there if you are after good food, good service, value for money, authentic food.

You have been warned! You will be disappointed big time.

We had planned to go out to Smiles Thai cafe near Brockley train station. Unfortunately they were closed and decided to go to just Thai Thai. We were apprehensive as on passing on numerous occasions this restaurant often looked dead but this evening was fairly busy.

My friend went to the toilet and was greeted by a cockroach! Because all 4 of us were starving we decided to give it a chance and stayed. We very subtly mentioned our discovery to the waitress who seemed unperturbed.

The service that greeted us was one of disorganization, overhearing queries over dishes from neighboring tables. The waitress clearly could not cope.

When ordering wine and the starters, our first

We went to this empty restaurant for my birthday hoping it was empty because it was an undiscovered treasure, we were wrong!

Our starters arrived late and was greasy and all deep fried. When our main meal arrived late again my food came 10mins before my partners and it was cold & the green curry was full of oil.

My partner explained what was wrong, but we were told to pay the full bill. When we refused the 'manager' declared that they "always have trouble with coloureds." My partner, who is white was livid. I was shocked & watched as again the owner explained that she always has problems with black people.
There is a reason why Just Thai Thai is empty but I am not sure why its sti
