 We discovered this hidden restaurant via the Internet to meet overseas guests. We have now been back 4 times and have booked again for November. The service is great changes to the printed menu to suit your taste are no trouble . The calamari is the best I have ever tasted thoroughly recommend . |

Recently, I brought some relatives visiting from abroad to London to show them around. After seeing the British Museum I took them to Il Fornello for lunch, because I'd eaten a wonderful meal there before. It was perfect yet again! My young nieces chose very tasty pizzas, while the adults dined on the mixed grill and a selection of mouth-watering pastas. The meat, vegetables and pasta dishes were all cooked to perfection! The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Thank you, Il Fornello for making our day in London extra special. |

Tasteful and unpretentious cuisine, convivial atmosphere, a charming little old restaurant left untouched from the sixties era. Loved it! what's more? It's on street level. There is also a private room catering for 150 people. A few years back we celebrated a birthday at Il Fornello and i was impressed by the setting in the private room. Amazing place! The place to go while in Holborn/Russell Square. |
