Those clever things at Chanel are no strangers to creating a hype around something as minor (to some) as a nail polish, but here they are set to do it again.
Last winter's Particulière sold out within hours (I had to go to Paris for mine...no joke) and summer 2010's Nouvelle Vague was heralded as THE colour of the season by every fashion bible known to man. So I've been rubbing my hands in glee since discovering the new season colours, which are due to go on sale tomorrow (Friday 28th - be quick!)
The favourite has to be Black Pearl, a subtley shimmery gunmetal perfect for seeing out the last days of winter, but the divine Pearl Drop deserves a look-in too, a deliciously snowy shade that is pure white in daylight but shimmers with golden reflections under evening light. Amazing. I want them both.
