Greek skincare brand Korres has launched a deliciously juicy new Mango Shower Gel. With their roots in the first Homeopathic Pharmacy of Athens, Korres was established in 1996 with the aim to utilise its extensive scientific resources for the creation of beneficial and safe products - today the company offers a complete skin and hair care range, sun care products and herbal preparations.
A taste of India, the new shower gel (£7.50) oozes with the sweet, vibrant fragrance of juicy ripe mangoes. Packed with wheat proteins helping the skin retain its moisture, it;s a deliciously refreshing start to the day, and is also the first of the brand’s body products to appear in the newly revamped, eco-friendly packaging.
In addition to the shower gel, a gorgeous new soap range has also just been announced. Consisting of four super soft scents, there's something for everyone. Pomegranate removes skin impurities, helps tighten pores and tone the skin - perfect for oily skin on the face or body. Chamomile is a mild cleanser, rich in emollient and almond oil to moisturise and condition the skin. Wheat is a fine-textured to cleanse gently without stripping the skin, and Milk is exceptionally mild, containing milk proteins to reduce inflammation and accelerate skin recovery. All four (£5.00 each) are gorgeously soft and luxurious, leaving your skin feeling brand new.
As if all that wasn't enough, my favourite of all the new Korres products is the eau de toilette collection. A milestone in the brand's history, this is their first ever fragrance range; each of the four scents (£24.00 each) is free from synthetics and inspired by nature. The mood is spicy, fruity, floral and natural, a blend of luxury and simplicity, classic and contemporary.
The intensely feminine Peonia, Vanilla, Amber & Pear is a gorgeously heady scent reminiscent of sultry summer evenings. White Tea, Bergamot & Freesia - my personal favourite - is a fresh, floral treat; an invigorating yet sensual blend due to its fresh, delicate, sweet-toned aroma. Saffron, Amber, Agarwood & Chamomile is a heady, oriental, woody scent, intense yet gentle and timelessly male. Finally, Pepper, Jasmine, Gaiac Wood & Passion Fruit has warm hints of sandalwood, anise and vanilla with spicy undertones, a gorgeous unisex scent.
A treat for any bathroom cabinet, the whole new Korres range is undoubtedly worth a look in.
