Annie Lennox, Status Quo, Tinie Tempah, Liza Minnelli attend the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards

It's a big date in the music calender and top stars always show up for a good old feed and celebration. And this year's event was no different. On Friday, the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards took place at the Hilton Park Lane... and what a bash it was...

The whole lunch was hosted by the lovely Jane Moore, who presented the winners with their special prizes, with the help of Graham Norton and Beverley Knight.

The 02 Silver Clef award itself went to the wonderful Annie Lennox for her incredible music and campaign work. The award celebrated Annie's 80 million+ album sales and dedication to supporting humanitarian causes across the world. And Annie chose to mark her victory by wearing one of her campaign t-shirts.

The fabulous Liza Minnelli charmed the journalists and paps alike as she celebrated her Investec Icon Award. In fact, she was the legend that everyone queued up to meet - and it was nice seeing even the toughest of showbiz types smile as Liza strolled by!

And then there was the gorgeous Tinie Tempah (won't lie, I adore him). He picked up the TAG: Design & Interactive Newcomer Award - while those lovely McFly boys, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Harry Judd took home the American Express Digital Innovation gong for their hard work on their own website - the McFly Super City. It's an impressive site - and if you haven't checked it out yet - you most definitely should at www.mcfly.com

And finally the great Biffy Clyro won Royal Albert Hall Best British Band Award - and it was well deserved - because these Scot boys are everywhere right now.

It's great to see some amazing names scoop the top gongs for once!
