My thoughts are ever more turning to my Autumn wardrobe (especially with Fashion Week on the horizon, outfits take planning you know!) and top of my To Buy List this week is this sensational clutch from Wilbur & Gussie.
Established in 2005 by old school friends Brett & Lucy, in the last 6 years the brand has become renowned for its iconic clutch bags, predominantly created from limited edition fabrics, elegant jewelled brooch fastenings and bold hardware. Having built up a loyal celebrity following - Princess Beatrice carried one of their bags at both recent Royal Weddings.
For Autumn/Winter 2011 they have branched into a more masculine style with structured leather pieces, though ironically they will fit perfectly with the season's ladylike trend (think tweed pencil skirt, little sweater, cropped gloves and killer Mary Janes...). I am all kinds of in love with the Rocco, pictured above, a beautiful brown mock croc number with a gorgeous brassy fox clasp. It's definitely number one on my Autumn bag list (there are a few, which you will undoubtedly see in the coming weeks...) and I shall be saving up my pennies for this little classic.
