Usually I'm not a fan of Asda, but as it's Christmas and this is for charity I guess I could give it a mention just this once.. So this Christmas Text Santa is coming to town! During the season of goodwill, Asda is set to launch an exclusive, limited edition range of products to raise much needed funds for ITV’s Text Santa appeal – a new fundraising campaign that aims to raise awareness and money for nine major charities across the UK at Christmas.
Asda, ITV’s key retail partner for Text Santa, is launching limited edition Santa hats, a range of fashionable George t-shirts and a bag for life, with the profit from each sale going straight to the Text Santa charity appeal.
The range is available in all 542 Asda stores across the UK now (plus T shirts are available from www.george.com; prices start from just £1 for the official Text Santa Santa hat, £4 for the children’s t-shirts and £5 for the adults. All profits for each sale will be evenly split between the nine charities involved.
Asda will also be supporting the Text Santa appeal with high profile presence in store and online and fundraising activity by Asda colleagues and shoppers throughout December. Plus, a high profile celebrity photographic campaign featuring ITV stars modelling the official t-shirts and hats will drive awareness in support of the appeal.
So go on people, spread a bit of joy and pick up a hat or T shirt next time you pass an Asda store!
