Simply Sensational Stocking Fillers

Love London

While I have no idea where the notion of stuffing a sock with presents came from, I do know it's a solid tradition that must always be adhered to. At the age of 26 and 51 weeks, I can still rest assured that come Christmas Eve Mum will have stuffed my stocking (red, with a snowman on it, made by Mum when I was a wee bairn)with treats and goodies. If you're stuck for original ideas for stocking fillers fear not, helps is at hand; slip in some of the beauties below and you're sure to be in the good books!

Connock London's new Hand Cream is a deliciously fast-absorbing, non-greasy cream that provides intense moisture and nourishment to dry hands and nails. Using the brand's signature Kukui Oil, the unique blend of essential fatty acids seals in elevated levels of moisture and reinforces the skin's natural barrier. Glycerin helps to retain moisture in the skin and adds a cooling effect while D-panthenol (otherwise known as as pro-vitamin B5) helps to stimulate cellular renewal. Hands are left looking and feeling silky smooth, supple and exceptionally soft. £18.50 from www.connocklondon.com

Natural beauty product connoisseur Andrea Garland creates amazing vintage-inspired rings, each of which opens up to reveal a pot of 100% natural handmade lip balm that hydrates, smoothes and protects lips. The gorgeous fox pictured above is £34 from www.andreagarland.co.uk

As part of Harrods' Crystal Christmas, Sisley have created a limited edition of their stunning leopard print powder compact studded with Swarovski crystals - just what any girl needs to add a bit of glamour to her make-up bag! Available now, £85 from Harrods.

Sticking with the leopard print theme (every girl secretly loves it!) head to Aspinal of London where you will find a rather fabulous leopard print snakeskin phone case, lined in cream suede. Available for various BlackBerries and the iPhone4, from £39 at www.aspinaloflondon.co.uk. Also on my Aspinal hit list is one of their gorgeous cuffs, in particular the Empress cuff in champagne snakeskin (£79). Beautiful.

Finally a Christmas gift that will always be appreciated is a little cashmere, and Pure Collection has the perfect stocking filler in the form of their irresistible butter-soft wristwarmers. Available in six wintry colours, my favourite is the butterscotch, a beautiful caramel shade that will look fabulous with my camel cashmere cardi recently purchased at a Ralph Lauren sample sale! £35 from www.purecollection.com
