Happy New Year readers! Firstly, may I share with you my favourite Christmas present - GOLD CONVERSE! I saw them recently in Office, lusted after them then cried when they didn't have my size. So imagine my joy and delight at finding them under the tree on Christmas morning? Santa (or my best friend Anna...) got it so right this year!
So today is the first anniversary of my first blog post! How time flies when you're having fun. 365 days and over 250 blog posts later (wow, didn't realise it was that many...) it's still going strong, so a big thank you to every who has been reading it and I hope you continue to do so in the days, weeks and months to come - there are big things planned for 2012 so stay tuned!
There have been some fabulous moments in the last year but some of my highlights were:
- London Fashion Week and the procurement of a much coveted Press Pass for the first time! Oh, the joy.
- The launch of the Harrods Shoe Salon: didn't quite top the launch of the Selfridge's Shoe Lounge the season before, but a fabulous party nonetheless, jam packed with celeb types and resplendent with a Louboutin Hoopla.
- Being sent a delicious thank you gift of THE bag of the summer, Cambridge Satchel Company's pink fluoro satchel.
- A pre-Christmas lunch with the MD of John Lewis Oxford Street: a fascinating insight into the store and how it all works behind the scenes!
I shall endeavour to once more enlighten your lives with London's fashion and beauty news throughout 2012, plus I might even venture a little further afield should you wish to jet away from the city for a while. I guess you will just have to wait and see what I come across!
