Step forward Prada's new Pyramide collection. Crafted in the brand's traditional Saffiano leather, its weave created with a hot mould and given a deeper, more three-dimensional look thanks to first varnishing and then polishing.
The classic bowling bag style is characterised by its distinctive metal clasp that, while a complex mechanism, makes for an extremely simple, linear visual result. The outer groove, folded and welded with silver, is set seamlessly into the leather, and forms a continuous rim that runs around the bag's upper sides. Available in several colours including black, red, pale blue and a fabulous springtime yellow, the Pyramide will arrive in Prada stores (including 17-18 Old Bond Street) from mid-January.
