American Superbowl adverts go dog crazy

Dogs in London - The London Dog Blog

Whilst we were absorbed on this side of the Atlantic with the Six Nations rugby and the football, over in the USA they were all glued to the Superbowl.

And in those famous commercial breaks (with each ad costing around $3m to reach the estimated 110 million viewers) there were three dog flavoured ads:

Volkswagen – The German car manufacturer showed us an overweight Labrador getting fit and sleek so he could escape through the dog flap and join a Star Wars adventure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-9EYFJ4Clo

Skechers – Mr Quiggley the pug beats the greyhounds in a race with his fancy footwear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlYCBJSYWBQ

Doritos – A Great Dane bribes a human with snacks to avoid being a suspect for a missing cat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vy6L9nJAeg

And we thought it was the Brits who were dog crazy!
