The All In London Blog

Taylor Walker pubs are offering a free pint of Bombardier beer to anyone named George or Georgina as part of its St George’s day celebrations.

On 23rd April Taylor Walker will be raising a glass to the patron saint of England and all his namesakes who can prove their first name is George, Georgina or any variation with valid photo ID.

Sorrel Ward, Concept Manager at Taylor Walker said, “Pubs are at the very heart of English culture which makes them the perfect place for people to get together and celebrate St George’s Day. And, as guardians of the Great British Pub, Taylor Walker has provided the best British pub food and drink for over two centuries.”

“As 2012 is such a special year for Britain, we wanted to do something a bit different to mark St George’s day this year by treating all Georges and Georginas to a free pint of traditional English beer.”

The celebrations mark the start of Taylor Walker’s Summer Festival of Britain which runs from April to August.

Sorrel added; “This summer is one of the most exciting the country has seen with many special occasions coming up including The Queen’s Jubilee, Euro 2012 and not to mention The Olympics. At Taylor Walker we can’t wait to hang out the bunting and celebrate in true British style.”

Visit any of Taylor Walkers 112 pubs (96 in London) to join the celebrations.
