ghd Launches the World's First Socially-Powered Beauty Experience

Luxury hair brand ghd has announced the launch of its first ever pop-up blow dry bar, the ghd air Boutique, which will be the world's first socially-powered beauty experience.

The Boutique will open next week as part of Vogue Fashion's Night Out, after which the travelling airstream trailer, fully kitted out with the latest ghd hair treats will embark upon a tour of 10 UK destinations as voted for by ghd's fans. The first stop with be Covent Garden's Piazza next weekend (September 8th and 9th) after which the power is in your hands as the voting will decide where it heads next!

At Vogue Fashion's Night out the ghd air Boutique will be open from 5.30pm - 9.30pm for speedy 30 minute blow dries with one of the ghd style team, with drinks and goody bags available to add to your pampering experience.

ghd have also teamed up with Select Model Management to run a competition to find the next face of the brand - aspiring models can upload a photo to the ghd Facebook page before 12pm tomorrow (Friday 31st August) before a shortlist is selected by a panel of experts from Select and ghd's Creative Director, Kenna (pictured above styling the hair for David Koma's AW12 London Fashion Week Show). The ultimate winner will then be decided by the fans, once again on Facebook. A truly interactive experience.
